Remote observatory · La Palma South · 515 m
No transport, no setup, no light-pollution problem. You book usage time on a ZWO SeeStar S30 Pro at one of Europe's darkest astronomical sites – and control it via app directly from home.
Buy or rent?
A new ZWO SeeStar S30 Pro costs several hundred euros – plus mount, batteries, transport costs, and the question: where is the sky dark enough?
StarShare is ideal for trying out remote astrophotography before investing in your own equipment – or as a complement when you want deep exposures under a dark sky.
What you book
With classic telescope rental, you get a device shipped to you – and then face the problem of setting it up and collimating it under your own sky. With StarShare, the telescope stays permanently at the La Palma South site (515 m elevation, SQM 21.9+) and you take over the observation remotely. €15 per hour, 1–10 hours freely selectable.
